Vermont Institute of Natural Science

I am so excited to have my work showing at the Vermont Institute of Natural Science (VINS) in Quechee, VT. I have always been an admirer of the work they do there. They are known for their rehabilitation of birds who have been injured, so that they can be released back into their natural habitat.  The birds that have injuries that prevent them from being released are cared for by loving employees.

I have my work hanging in the pavilion where educational programs and bird encounters are held. My work will be hanging from January 12th 2019 to March 31st 2019. All of the pieces that are hanging are new, and have never been shown in another gallery or show. The Owl Festival will be February 23rd 2019 and 24th 2019, a wonderful weekend for owl lovers! Stop in and check out my work if you are there!

All of the pieces that I have on display are original watercolor/Pen & Ink paintings that are mounted on wood panels. My husband Alex Drew made all of the amazing custom oak frames. They have a matt varnish to help protect the paintings. Watercolors should never be placed in direct sunlight, the UV rays will fade the pigments over time.
