This winter I applied for one of the solo show spots in the Yester House at Southern Vermont Arts Center. I was so excited to hear that they wanted me to be one of their artists showing this season. Actually I was beyond excited, I may have jumped up and down a bit.
The day I went to hang the show was gorgeous. The Southern Vermont Arts Center campus is amazing. The road leading to SVAC has sculptures running on both sides. The buildings are white with red doors, and the well manicured lawns, trees and flowers add to the whole setting.
The solo shows are upstairs in the Yester House. When you reach the top of the stairs you are greeted rooms where different solo artists work is hung. My pieces are hanging in the hallway leading to even more amazing artists. I have eleven pieces hanging until July 14th 2019.
