This winter I applied for one of the solo show spots in the Yester House at Southern Vermont Arts Center. I was so excited to hear that they wanted me to be one of their artists showing this season. Actually I was beyond excited, I may have jumped up and down a bit.

Vermont Institute of Natural Science
I am so excited to have my work showing at the Vermont Institute of Natural Science (VINS) in Quechee, VT. I have always been an admirer of the work they do there. They are known for their rehabilitation of birds who have been injured, so that they can be released back into their natural habitat. The birds that have injuries that prevent them from being released are cared for by loving employees.
Branching Out – Solo Show
Last Friday at the White River Craft Center, in Randolph, VT I had my first solo gallery show! My 44 original watercolor and pen paintings will be hanging until February 8th.
Lyme, NH Birches
Here is a look at my Lyme, NH birches watercolor. When I paint I use real trees to paint from, I learn something new from each tree I paint. I like to know that these trees are out there, and that I happened to stumble upon them. This piece is 6″x12″, mounted on wood panel & has an oak frame made by Alex. I am so excited that this piece sold at the Quechee Balloon Festival this year. This is one of my favorite pieces I have ever done!
